GIRL SCOUTS OF RIVER BLUFFS COUNCIL

POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION:            Kreitner Program Staff

REPORTS TO:       Membership Development Manager

PURPOSE:             To deliver Girl Scout program to girls after school at participating schools.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Recruit, place and register all girls, parents, and adult volunteers with GSUSA who

    participate in the program.

2. Plan and conduct weekly troop meetings utilizing volunteers and resource persons.

3. Participate in training, planning and evaluation meetings as required.

4. Maintain program, financial and attendance records.

5. Plan and execute annual recognition program.

6. Plan and execute programs outside troop meetings, including but not limited to field

    trips and outdoor educational experiences.

7. Maintain communication with girl and adult members, parents and community

    resource persons.

8. Identify and organize community resources suitable for Girl Scout activities.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.

3. Ability to work well with children and adults.

4. Ability to set and meet goals with self-initiative.

5. Ability to work with diverse population groups.

6. Dependable, efficient, enthusiastic and punctual.

7. Ability to keep accurate records.

8. Ability to represent Girl Scouting in the community.

9. Ability to demonstrate Girl Scout program.
