Out-Of-Council Resident Camps

Girl Scouts of River Bluffs will pay the out-of-council fee for one resident camp experience for registered members. For those needing assistance, please complete the Campership Application for Resident Camp and return it to the Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Service Center for approval. Girl Scouts of Shagbark Council

Camp Cedar Point offers 1-week camping experiences for girls 7-17 in the beautiful, rustic environment of the Shawnee National Forest and Little Grassy Lake. Girls can choose from a variety of session themes, including horsemanship, crime solving, water lovers, art and culture, animals and more! Also offered are multi-week CIT I and II programs for girls who are interested in becoming counselors or building their leadership skills. Brochures will be available mid March and information will be posted as it becomes available on their website www.shagbark.org.  Camp Cedar Point Open House is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th, 2008. June & July Resident Camps offered. Opportunities include arts and crafts, swimming and boating. Every camp has a costume party, Beaver Breakfasts, and Floating Lunches! LIT is available for girls in 9th and 10th grades.
