WANTED Girls 11-17 looking for adventure! Did you know that the kayaking trips at Rockome Gardens are the ultimate adventure? Novice or profession kayakers will enjoy the Kaskaskia River in a kayak. Two and a half hours of the breathtaking tranquility, quiet surroundings is suitable for most. There are no rapids. Four departure times daily should fit into anyone’s schedule. If kayaking isn’t your sport, then how about a guided horseback trail ride? All ages will enjoy the "cowboys" who will guide you on a relaxing ride through the woods.

Kayaking:

• $20.00 per person

• 4 mile trip is approximately 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours

• Departure times are 10:30 a.m., 12 noon, 1:30 and 3:00 p.m.

• You must make reservations!

Horseback Riding:

• $18.00 per person full ride 1 ½ hours

• $9.00 per person half ride ½ hour to 45 minutes

• For the younger ones, a pony ride is available. $ 6.00 per person (pony rides roughly 10-15 min. in a circle)
