Girl Scout Gold Award Committee Dates
Spring-Fall 2008
The Gold Award Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers who offer support and guidance to girls pursuing the Girl Scout Gold Award. The committee accepts and reviews initial proposals for Girl Scout Gold Award projects, and provides valuable feedback to enhance the success of the project. The committee also hears final reports from girls who have completed their projects and approves the final award.
Girls wishing to present their initial proposal or final project must submit the appropriate paperwork AT LEAST THREE WEEKS IN ADVANCE of the meeting they plan to attend (all paperwork must be typed or computerized). This provides the committee members adequate time to review paperwork and prepare for the meeting.
Below are the dates for the Girl Scout Gold Award Committee Meetings:

WEST: The West Girl Scout Gold Award Committee meets at the Glen Carbon service center on the first Wednesday of the month, with the exception of June, July, December, and January.
The meetings are as follows:

EAST:
The East Girl Scout Gold Award Committee will meet 2 times in the fall and 2 times in the spring, unless otherwise needed at the Effingham service center. The scheduled meetings are:
