Girl Scout Programs at The Magic House

During the school year, Badge Workshops for Girl Scout troops are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 3:30 pm or 4:30 pm and select Fridays at 4:00 pm, 5:15 pm, 6:00 pm or 7:45 pm. These programs meet requirements for Brownies (Movers Try-It and Science Wonders Try-It); Juniors (Science Discovery Badge, Art in 3D Badge, Visual Artist Badge, and Prints and Graphics Badge). The cost of these programs are $7.00 per Girl Scout and $7.00 for accompanying adults and leaders. Reservations are required and can be made online at www.magichouse.org.

Through Scout Outreach, The Magic House brings Badge Workshops to your school – available after school and on evenings or weekends. The outreach programs are $7.00 per Girl Scout, with a minimum of 10 Girl Scouts and a maximum of 20 Girl Scouts. Reservations are required and can be made online at www.magichouse.org 

The Magic House is a not-for-profit participatory museum that provides hands-on learning experiences for children and families that encourage participation, experimentation, creativity and the development of problem-solving skills within a place of beauty, wonder, joy and magic.  Regular museum admission is $7.00 per person.  Children under the age of one are free. 

The Magic House is located at 516 S. Kirkwood Road, one mile north of Highway 44 in historic downtown Kirkwood.  Public hours are Tuesday through Thursday, 12 - 5:30 pm, Friday 12 - 9 pm, Saturday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm and Sunday 11 am -5:30 pm.  The museum is closed on Mondays.  Parking is always free at The Magic House.
