Camp Torqua
Stars and stripes were aplenty as girls delved into America's past and were visited by the likes of Benjamin Franklin, Betsy Ross, Rosie the Riveter, and soldiers. Girls participated in a ceremonial flag burning and took an all camp field trip to learn about Edwardsville's past. Patriotism was this camp's theme and it flourished throughout the week -- but this camp wasn't all about the past when it came to the overnight! Campers once again enjoyed their annual snipe hunt and dance with an overnight in tents.
