Effingham County Girl Scout Day Camp

Camp Wassatoga
The Effingham Day Camp not only took the challenges, but survived a week of numerous challenges. Girls had a chance to canoe, go horseback riding, try archery, and learned a variety of basic Girl Scout skills. Knots, songs, games, and outdoor cooking in everything from foil, to a pizza box, and cardboard oven to dutch oven cooking rounded out our week. Bandanna tricks were fun and girls were ‘stylin’ in the new ways to wear them! The rain a couple of days and the threat of a tornado didn’t slow us down or stop the fun!
It was a great day camp and plans are already in the works for next year’s camp. You’ll want to be a part of the fun next year!
