Waterloo Girl Scout Day Camp

Camp Vandeventer
Stick horses and real horses alike were on the grounds at this western-themed camp. Campers learned roping tricks and horse care from a cowboy and later traveled to a stable for horseback riding. Besides all this horsing around, girls also cooked over open fires, did archery, and swam. Older girls participated in an overnight that took some of the brave under the caverns for some caving time.
