The Crawford Co. Student Nurses Assn. hosted a Nursing In Your Future event for the Crawford
Co. Girl Scouts, Service Unit 642 on April 12, 2008. The girls participated in a teddy bear checkup, bike and
sun safety, first aid, dental health and healthy eating habits booths.
Each girl received a nurse pin and was declared an "honorary" nurse for the day. The girls also received many samples, posters, flyers and handouts to take home with them. There was also a drawing
for a 21" collectible nurse bear.
