Great Field Trip Opportunity! In keeping with our focus on animals, a Brownie and Junior troop in Crawford County (641), contacted www.fieldtripfactory.com and discovered that they could tour their local Petco Store.

The girls learned all about the care and feeding of various pets to insure pets were cared for properly. They were able to put this information into action by utilizing their new knowledge in pet routines at home so their pets were in the best possible health and were getting sufficient exercise. The girls enjoyed the field trip and would encourage other troops to check out the above website and take advantage of the information on that website. Don’t forget that this would be a great resource for the appropriate Try-It, Junior badge, or IP.

Congratulations to the following girls that have earned their Girl Scout Gold Award: Mallory M.; Katie S.; Mary D.; Shari T.;   Congratulations to the following girls who have earned their Girl Scout Silver Award: Stacy G.; Katherine B.; Alyssa D.; Natalie M.; Lisa A.; Allison B.; Michelle R.; Stephanie R.; Emily F.

A Big Thank You! The Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Council would like to say a special thank you to the following businesses for generously donating prizes for the 2007 Search Party and supporting Girl Scouts.

Outback Steakhouse, Swansea; Applebee’s, Glen Carbon; The Edge, Belleville; Gateway Fun Park, Collinsville;

St. Clair Bowl, Fairview Heights; Buffalo Wild Wings, Edwardsville
