We had a record breaking 135 girls participate in the Summer of Adventures in Reading (SOAR) program this summer. In total, participating Girl Scouts in River Bluffs Council read 2,594 books containing 225,728 pages! What a great accomplishment! The grand prize winners include:

Daisy Girl Scouts:

Brownie Girl Scouts:

• Emily Falbe – Troop #994 from Maryville

• Caroline Stewart – Troop #571 from Belleville

Junior Girl Scouts:

• Bethany Avery – Troop #2018 from Robinson

• Erin Whitehead – an Individual Girl Scout from Wood River

Girl Scouts 11-17:

• Morgan Ohnesorge – Troop #2563 from Altamount

• Michele Jones – Troop #706 from South Roxana
