New Volunteer Policies...On August
15th, the Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Council Board of Directors voted to
adopt new Volunteer Policies effective October 1, 2007. These policies
provide for consistent action and direction and form the basis for an
effective volunteer development system. Please review these carefully with
all volunteers associated with your troop. Each troop will receive one
copy of the policies at their service unit meeting. The policies will also
be available on the council website and the new Volunteer Resource Guide
due out in October.

GSRBC "All Stars" Patch Program: The "ALL STARS" patch is to
recognize those troops that go above and beyond. To earn the patch,
requirements must be completed within the Girl Scout year. All troops are
eligible to earn this patch. The requirements to earn this patch will in
the next NTL and will also listed on our website.
GSRBC and the case of the missing
registration forms…......Just a reminder that if you are interested in
registering for one of the great program opportunities offered this fall,
use the
Troop
Registration form (or
Individual registration form where applicable) found in the back
of the Edge and the Compass. This form is appropriate for
each event listed in the Compass, Edge or in the Notes to
Leaders. We are saving paper by eliminating multiple registration
forms!
