19^th Annual Girl Scout Golf Tournament

This year’s Girl Scout Golf Tournament will take place on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the beautiful Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Illinois.  Proceeds from the golf tournament help fund programming, volunteer training, camp maintenance, and financial assistance for girls in need.   Last year’s event raised $30,000 with the help of our corporate sponsors The Bank of Edwardsville, The Korte Company and Brennan Staffing.  A special thanks to Ralph Korte who’s been the Golf Tournament Chair for the past 18 years.  If you’re interested in becoming a  sponsor, to play in the Tournament, or to volunteer please contact Pamela Hastings Perlmutter, Development Director, at 618-692-0692 or pperlmutter@riverbluffs.org

 Girl Scouts and Schnucks Partner to Raise Money for Girls

The Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Council and Schnucks grocery stores have partnered to raise money to support Girl Scouting.  Schnucks will contribute up to 3% of your purchase to the Girl Scouts each time you shop and present your eScrip Community Card.  Stop by your local Schnucks to pick up an eScrip Community Card today!  Once you have your card simply call eScrip at 1-800-931-6258 and give them The Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Council’s name and ID Number which is #50004959. Then present your card at checkout to the cashier each time you shop, it’s that easy!
