It's Spring Registration Time!

It’s that time again! Spring Registration is coming to your Service Unit! That's right....you have a great opportunity to get a jump on the next membership year. We offer early registration to troops who are continuing on in Girl Scouting. Spring registration begins in March, and all registrations must be turned in to your Service Unit Registrar by the end of May. There are many benefits to Spring Registration. Here are the highlights:

From the Council....For every 5 girls that re-register, one adult registers free!

From Service Units.....Some Service Units have their own incentives, such as an additional free adult registration. Check with your Service Unit Manager to see if there are any incentives in your Service Unit.

For the Girls:

  • All girls who spring register will receive a new spring registration patch.

  • Spring registering your girls will help your service unit plan ahead for a wonderful year. Get a head start on all the fall program options listed in the new year long program book (formally known as the Compass).

  • You can make the fall a bit easier - less paperwork, quicker start to the year and a more consistent experience for girls and leaders.

  • You can make plans with your girls and register more easily for upcoming fall programs.

  • You can help girls return in the fall, including those girls who might be lost over the summer months.

  • Your troop will be ready to participate in the Cookie Sale, which begins with the Cookie Caravan in late September. You will ensure that your girls will be ready for the council-wide sale which means more money for your troop.

  • Even if you are not sure if you are returning as a leader, your girls can still participate in spring registration. If we know we have girls who are in need of a new leader, we will have plenty of time to find them one. If you have any questions about spring registration, please contact the Membership Development Manager for your Service Unit.
