highlight the benefits of staying active. Self-confidence, leadership, teamwork, respect for others, responsibility, dedication, health and well-being – these are only some of the myriad benefits of sports and physical activity. While the official day is February 6, you can still plan an activity anytime during February to promote overall health and well-being. Throughout our 95 years, Girl Scouts has offered innovative programs for a healthy lifestyle. Some activities may work towards earning the Dancercize, Girl Sports, Sports & Games Try-Its, Adventure Sports, Court Sports, Field Sports, Sport Sampler or Winter Fun badges, or the On the Court, On the Playing Field, Sports for Life IPs, or the On Track Focus Book.
