Dear Juliette,

Do the current Kindergarten Daisy Girl Scouts bridge this year, or will they be 1st grade Daisy Girl Scouts next year?

Dear FP,

All first graders will be Daisies in the fall of 2008. Both existing and new first grade girls will be registered as Daises. Since the program level for your girls is not changing, do not bridge them to Brownies until they finish first grade and begin second grade as Brownie Girl Scouts.

I have a Daisy Troop. We have already earned all of our petals. What will we do as 2nd year Daisies?

Dear BDB,

Congratulations to your girls for their accomplishment!  Programs that meet the needs of all girls are so important to us.

Girl Scouts of the USA has developed new programming for all levels to be released this fall. In addition, the River Bluffs program staff are working hard to have supplemental activities ready in the fall.

 

There will not only be new program materials for Daisies, but also for all other levels - Brownies through Ambassadors.

As we learn more about the changes coming, we will share them with you.
