Julie has 20 years of
professional experience as a Girl Scout staff member. For the last 15
years, she has served as a Membership Development Manager with Girl Scouts
of Eastern Missouri in St. Louis, MO. Prior to that, she worked in
membership at a council in suburban Chicago and Maine. Julie is a graduate
of SIU – Carbondale with a degree in Outdoor Recreation. Originally from
Highland, IL, she was a girl member in River Bluffs Council for many
years. Julie looks forward to working
with all current and prospective volunteers to ensure that we make Girl

The Sierra Club, along with some organizations in Collinsville, will be
conducting an E-recycling event on June 21st in Collinsville from 9:00 am
to 4:00 pm. Volunteers are needed that day. For more information or to

Visitors will experience the Native American culture through teachings, demonstrations, drumming, dancing, arts and crafts, and native food. The event includes an activity area where you can experience flintknapping (making arrowheads), storytelling, games, and crafts which is enjoyed by both children and adults alike. Bend area hosted one in March and the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon communities held theirs in April. These campaigns are easy and great fun. We are looking for volunteers who live and work in the Belleville area to help make our Belleville event a great success.
