Community Service Project Update
WAY TO GO! 870 girls participated in in our Spring Council Wide Community Service Project - Girl Scouts Go Green-er!
This service project focused on being earth friendly and environmentally focused. Sample troop activities included making bird reeders from recyclable materials; planting trees and flower gardens; holding a recycling drive at school that included batteries, cell phones, CDs, DVDs; decorating paper bags with earth friendly sayings and drawings at local grocery stores.
What an impact Girl Scouts of River Bluffs Council girls are making on our environment!
