Seven Steps to the Girl Scout Gold Award

Girl Scout Gold Award Workshops

 

A registered Girl Scout must be at least 14 years of age or in the 9th grade to begin work on Steps 1-4 of the Girl Scout Gold Award. She must be at least 15 years of age or in the 10th grade to start work on Step 5. A great resource is the Girl Scout Gold Award "Go For It" insert.

 

  1. ORGANIZE: Building a Framework - get organized so that you can carry out the other six steps.

  2. LEAD: Earn the Girl Scout Gold Leadership Award – put the Girl Scout Law into action.

• Leadership Hours - 30 hours

  1. NETWORK: Earn the Girl Scout Gold Career Award – reach out and build your network.

• 40 Hours

  1. EXPLORE: Earn the Girl Scout Gold 4Bs Challenge.

Become: My Self - 2 Goals

Belong: Our community

Believe: A vision for change – Vision Statement

Build: My network

  1. CREATE: Create a project plan for your Girl Scout Gold Award Project.

  2. ACT: Do your Girl Scout Gold Award Project – make a difference in your community on something you strongly care about.

  1. REFLECT: Reflect and Evaluate – realize how earning the Girl Scout Gold Award has changed you and impacted others.
