Outdoor Program Opportunities for Program Aides

Ready Set Go Camping! Help Brownie Girl Scout troops earn their Ready Set Go Camping Try-It! You will be assigned to a troop and will be responsible for helping them complete activities at stations, create a kaper chart, and lead them in songs and activities during free time. You will be spending the night at Camp ChanYaTa or Camp Wassatoga, and meals are included.

Kamp Kaper 2008! Help first time campers learn the ropes at Camp Torqua or Camp Wassatoga. You will be assigned a troop, and will be responsible for guiding them through the stations. Sing songs and play games to keep them busy during their free time. You will be spending the night at Camp Torqua or Camp Wassatoga and meals are included.

Be an OAR-PA!
Be a part of the great outdoors in the Outdoor Adventure Resource Program! You can assist a trained and certified facilitator in archery, canoeing, sailing, or rock climbing. As an OAR-PA, you will get leadership hours while you learn about an outdoor hobby. While you won’t actually be instructing, the facilitator may call on you to help with equipment or keep girls active and interested in what is going on. OAR-PAs are called on an as needed basis.
